The JK Structure company develops, manufactures, markets and continuously improves and upgrades a range of innovating products for the construction industry and for civil works applications.
The history
The JK Structure construction system was invented by its founder the French engineer Joseph Kieffer (Mr. JK) in the early 1980’s.
Due to its unique contribution to iconic construction projects like the Japan Tower in Paris-La-Défense by the worldwide famous architect Kisho Kurokawa and the theme park and waterworks of Euro-Disney near Paris, the JK Structure construction systems were rapidly implemented in the French construction market. The success and growth of the company in France was very rapid.
It subsequently entered on an even larger scale the civil works market with major applications like the construction and the repair of railway and road tunnels, complex waterworks, and in the consolidation of slopes and embankments and in the process had set up numerous partnerships with large French construction companies like the French international Vinci group and Ciment Vicat group.
In 2009 JK Structure enters the international construction market
In 2007 Joseph Kieffer retired and sold his assets to the UK company RDC Promotion which was renamed JK Structure Limited and is managed by Maxime Sadowsky.
The manufacturing activities were relocated in Belgium and equipped with latest generation production lines. A new R&D center was set up, allowing the company to enter the competitive international construction market by setting up partnerships in most major construction markets.
The JK Structure construction technology system achieved up to date certification for the European market in 2009 and subsequently achieved local certification in its major new international markets.
Remarkable systems and products
JK Structure has hence become one of the most efficient construction technologies in the world and in spite of numerous attempts remains an unchallenged technological leader. JK Structure’s current objective is to joint venture with local partners in the setting up of cost competitive local production units in all its major markets in order to achieve lost competitive production costs and eliminate unnecessary transportation costs and penalising import taxes.
